La Caleta
For a similar profile but with a more authentic, less 'resort' feel, we suggest La Caleta. A former fishing village next to Costa Adeje, it's now known for excellent seafood restaurants and a calm, party-free atmosphere — a quiet luxury pocket close to everything, without the crowds.
La Caleta keeps its village feel: a small bay, fishing boats, and a row of seafood restaurants that locals actually eat at. Beyond the waterfront it's mostly modern residential complexes, many with pools and sea views.
You can walk the coastal path to Playa del Duque in 15 minutes, so Costa Adeje's shops and services are close without living in the middle of them. A car is useful for bigger errands, though many residents manage on foot and by bus.
For remote workers: calm, safe, and well connected, with good fibre coverage. There's no real café-working scene, but the promenade and the quiet make it a favourite for people who work from home and want evening walks by the sea.
